Cheer Stunts

A cheerleading stunt is a group of 5 girls who bring one girl into the air doing different tricks and moves while bringing her up and down.

The different members of the stunt groups are:

Fly: The fly is the girl that is being thrown into the air by her stunt group. This girl normally has to be littler that the others so she is easier to hold up. Even if the fly isn't that light, she always has to keep all of her muscles tight to help her be lighter.

Base(s): A base is the people below the fly that hold her up in the air. There are normally 2 bases below her. They hold her by her feet and always have to be in sync with each other for the stunt to work out well.

Back Spot: The back spot is the girl who hold the back/backside of the fly. She helps life some of her weight so that the bases aren't lifting it all. The backspot is also there for if the fly was to fall backwards.

Front Spot: The front spot is the girl who is there for the fly to hold onto if necessary and for safety if the fly was to fall forward.
